Full Height Single Turnstile Systems

TEC Security supply and install high security, robust, anti-vandal, and long-lasting full height turnstiles, perfect for outdoor and indoor applications. 

Our single full-height turnstiles are engineered to deliver a high level of security in areas requiring strict access control, even when no security personnel are present. While effectively protecting the premises, it ensures complete safety and ease of use for individuals passing through. 

It is suitable for a wide range of high-security locations, including construction sites, factories, stadiums, government buildings, prisons, and other restricted-access areas. 

Constructed from AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, or with a durable powder-coated finish, the single turnstile offers flexible material options. Its internal mechanism is produced using special investment-casting technology, resulting in a highly robust and long-lasting system.

The single turnstile supports passageways with either 120° or 90° arm positioning in three- or four-arm designs. 

This electromechanical turnstile operates bidirectionally and features a self-centering mechanism that automatically returns it to its default position. It integrates seamlessly with all types of access control systems, including card readers, biometric devices, remote controls, and push buttons via a simple dry contact. 

Once access is granted, a gentle push on the arm initiates rotation, and the unit locks automatically after one full turn. If unused for 15 seconds, the turnstile issues an audible warning and relocks. LED status indicators located on both sides display green arrows or red crosses to show authorized directions of movement. 

For safety, the system unlocks during a power outage, allowing free rotation of the arms in both directions to enable quick evacuation and prevent individuals from becoming trapped within the gate.

Full Height Double Turnstile Systems

Our double full-height turnstiles deliver a high level of security in areas requiring strict access control, even when no security personnel are present. While reliably securing the premises, it ensures complete safety and ease of use for all users. 

The double configuration offers significant space savings where multiple lanes are required. Passageways can be fitted with either 120° or 90° arm positioning in three- or four-arm layouts 

The double turnstile is ideal for high-security entry points with heavy traffic such as construction sites, factories, stadiums, government facilities, prisons, and any other locations where controlled access is essential. 

The turnstile is available in AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, or in a durable powder-coated finish. There is an option for a hybrid configuration, with the rotating section in stainless steel and the outer casing powder coated. Its internal mechanism is manufactured using special investmentcasting technology, providing exceptional durability and long service life. The electronic control boards enable the double turnstile to operate in various modes and integrate seamlessly with different systems.

Waist Height Tripod Turnstile System

TEC Security install waist height tripod turnstiles with a durable 3-section, stainless steel design and several drive mechanism options. The turnstile is extremely stable and applicable for heavy usage conditions such as daily use at an entrance. 

The turnstile can come as a short or long bridge type with simple integration with access control systems using integration brackets to minimise security risks – supports RFID cards / fobs, facial recognition and biometrics. 

This system allows for quick and convenient crowd control at exit and entry to limit congestion of pedestrian traffic and secure flow of authorised persons – access granted to only one user at a time. 

The turnstile is a bidirectional, logic-controlled entryway that is well equipped to deal with potential power outages and relies on a self-centering, electromechanical drive mechanism (as well as a hydraulic damper and anti-backup device) to ensure complete rotation of the steel drop arms, even in emergency mode. 

Entrance and exit directions can be individually set as controlled, locked, or free rotation. After the release, the turnstile blocks itself after an adjusted time if no transition or passage occurs. If people from both directions would like to pass through simultaneously, the first person who activates the turnstile comes first. 

When in controlled access mode, after the release confirmation is sent by the access control system, the turnstile unlocks the released direction and enables one-person access. After each person, the turnstile rotor blocks passage again, and does not permit access from entrance or exit directions until receiving a new release signal from the access control system. 

Options available for electromechanical operation and hand-operated with drop arm, or motordriven with drop arm drive mechanism. 

In the event of an emergency or power cut, the mechanism unlocks the rotor, and the arms rotate freely in both directions. (In drop-arm or motorised versions, the hinged arm design opens the passage in both directions automatically.) During emergency mode, the acoustic alarm and the LED indicators will both keep signalling. The turnstile resets itself automatically when the emergency alarm stops or the power is switched back on. (In the drop-arm version, the arm should be lifted manually.) 

The units consist of steel housing and arms, aluminium tripod hub with options for housing material in 2 mm thick stainless steel (AISI 304/316), or powder-coated steel in RAL colours.

Automatic Speed Gate Systems

Their durable construction requires minimal maintenance, providing years of reliable, trouble-free operation and creating a secure environment in areas such as reception halls. 

These gates are suited for a wide range of applications, including stadiums and arenas, perimeter and interior security points, recreation and amusement parks, retail crowd management, and lobby access control. 

In the event of an emergency or power failure, the system offers a fail-safe solution by allowing free passage in both directions, ensuring safe and efficient evacuation.
