The FAAC 844C and 746C operator series is highly regarded for their strength, durability, and dependable performance, designed specifically to move large, heavy gates with ease. The FAAC 746C is ideal for sliding gates up to 600 kg, while the FAAC 844C can handle gates up to 1800 kg. Both operators use oil-bath lubrication technology, delivering exceptionally quiet and efficient movement. This lubrication system improves heat dissipation, supports higher usage frequency, and minimises friction between components—ensuring long-lasting, consistent performance over time. 

The new control panel for both operators is the FAAC E781, equipped with a high-resolution magnetic encoder at its core. The encoder’s continuous feedback allows the motor’s force to be precisely monitored and managed, making this system particularly well-suited for cantilever gates. The panel also includes: two programmable outputs, independent inputs for 8K2 safety edges, hold-to-run “Forced Command” for bypassing safety devices, smooth operation, high usage capacity, adjustable speed, optimal performance even during slowdown, improved force management, low power consumption, and compatibility with Simply Connect. 

TEC Security ensure that all safety devices are carefully considered and implemented for sliding gate automation with an electrical isolator switch used on all automation installs as well as arresting gate straps.
