Protecting the United Nations Building

The United Nations is a global organisation promoting peace, dignity, and equality on a healthy planet. When they needed to upgrade the security of their Dublin office, we were on hand to consult with them on the design required.

Risk Assessment

As with any new client, we will start with a risk assessment. During a consultation we will look at the existing security systems and create a risk assessment that lists what needs to be prioritised. When it comes to providing security for any government building or critical business it is vital to ensure we are keeping the people within the property safe first. We start by looking at all access points, existing measures and any vulnerabilities that may need attention.

A concern for all our clients is to make sure that if there is an intruder or some security breach then it is monitored and responded to appropriately and in a timely fashion. With our wealth of expertise, we could provide some case studies to show how such an event would be handled. Monitoring measures, adaptable equipment and technology all come into play here.

Protecting Information

As you would imagine, there is a wealth of sensitive data held on these premises so it is important that only authorized personnel can get access to the premises and certain areas of the building. However, the security solution provided must fit in with the daily running of the operation. Security is there to enhance, not hinder the client’s operations. We will always design around the operations of a business and each solution will have its own bespoke elements.

High Level Security

In addition to using the most up to date technology and security equipment we must provide a feeling of trust and confidence with potential new clients. Our track record working with embassies and other government bodies means that the new client can have confidence. We know that one size does not fit all. For this Dublin office we used our experience to create a robust complete security solution that protects and was a good fit for the client.
